Planets are part of the universe we live in. Knowing the names of the planets in English helps you understand science topics, space-related discussions, and improves your general vocabulary. These words are also commonly used in school, books, movies, and news.
Planets are large objects in space that orbit (move around) a star. In our case, all planets in the solar system orbit the Sun. Each planet has different features like size, color, distance from the sun, and whether it is hot or cold.
